Scott Brandi and Linda Irvin, co-hosts of the ISKINY-PSAA Expo (iskinyexpo.com) are excited to announce that international presenter, author and EMMY award winner, Michael Brandwein, will close day 2 of the ISKINY-PSAA Expo to be held at Camelback Resort, September 18-20, 2017. Changing up the traditional key-note speaker from opening the event to closing it, the ISKINY-PSAA Expo will feature this “stand alone seminar” on Wednesday, September 20th from 8:30 – noon.
Michael is best known for his original material, energetic, entertaining teaching style along with his down-to-earth, practical, “skills you can use immediately” approach. He is a frequent national and state keynoter for hundreds of professional associations and Fortune 500 clients and last year was the feature speaker of the PSAA Fall Education Day. Michael is author of of four best-selling books, Training Terrific Staff!, Training Terrific Staff! Volume Two, Super Staff SuperVision, and Learning Leadership, and wrote and presented three 1999 Emmy® award-winning televisions programs on communication, broadcast on PBS stations throughout the U.S.
Focusing on supervisors and managers, Michael will share training techniques, activities and material to help boost the effectiveness of ski area staff training, teaching practical skills that attendees can use every day on the job.
Part Two of the session will demonstrate how to have quick, consistent and more frequent conversations with staff that focus on positive ways to celebrate what is working and identify goals to work on. Supervisors and managers will learn exactly what to say and to do to bring out the best in staff.
Customer service is key to the ski industry and learning the skills to train and get the best out of your employees is a keystone to customer service.
Open to all attendees and exhibitors, Day 2 is a “must do” for all attendees.

The Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association (PSAA) is a non-profit trade organization developed to promote and service the ski areas across Pennsylvania.
